Whether students are looking for new laptop or home appliance, they can always find goods deals on these products before going back to college. Along with these products, students can also get an early start by shopping for the right textbooks and home furniture. In this post, I’m going to write a blog post for students who need a back to college shopping list for basic needs.
Electronics, Computers, and Video Games
Electronics: It’s very important to have a cell phone in college. This will allow students to keep in touch with their family and friends while away in college. Besides cell phones, TVs and video game consoles are great for entertainment purpose. Students can take their mind off studying so that they do not get burned out. Laptops, desktops, printers, and tablets are available if students need to upgrade. PC hardware and flash drives can be used to store large amount of information.
Clothes and Shoes
Clothes: Men and women’s clothing will always be in fashion or on sale throughout the year. In most states, retailers have no tax so that the students can take advantage of the deals. This is the perfect opportunity to restock on clothing, shoes, and socks at discount prices.
Grocery Products: Besides clothes and shoes, there are several types of personal and household products that are on sale. They include toothbrushes, electric shavers, cleaning products, deodorant, cosmetics, and other grocery products.
College Textbooks: Students can find certain books cheaper than the campus store. As a result, it’s a good idea to shop online and search for textbooks by ISBN. It’s even better if you have the book before the first class. Be sure that you talk to your professor first before buying!
Home and Kitchen
Home and Kitchen Products: When you move into your apartment or dorms, it’s a good idea to bring certain appliances that you will be using throughout the school year. These types of appliances will include coffee maker, blenders, fans, heaters, kettle, toasters, hand mixers, air purifiers, and many more. Bed comforters, sheets, pillows, and bath room towels are also a must have as well. For your kitchen, it’s a great idea to get forks, spoons, knives, plates, and drinking cups.
Office and School Supplies
School Supplies: Students will need a quality backpack so that they can have the ability to walk around the campus. For math classes, there are good deals on calculators for advance math equations. If you can’t bring a laptop to class, students will have the opportunity to stock up on papers, spiral notebooks, pens, and highlighters so that they can take good notes.
Home Furniture: If your apartment or dorm is not furnished, it’s not too late to upgrade or adds new furniture. Dressers and storage organizers for closets are available to keep clothes from getting wrinkle. Home office furniture and chairs are also available as well. This is great when you are studying at your place. It’s not a bad idea to add additional tables and chairs for the living room or dining area.Top Trends for 2016
